Bensfield Tree House

  • Tree House – Hotel & Leisure

    Location: East Sussex

A rustic home nestled in a pastoral landscape…

This luxury safari-style tree house is set in the beautiful Sussex countryside with far reaching views over the surrounding farmland. Open to guests throughout the year, the tree house is an ideal romantic retreat that replaces the hectic pace of urban life with seclusion, comfort and quite possibly, a return to your childhood dreams.

The perfect entrance for a tree house adventure…

There’s no better entrance to a tree house than an ‘Indiana Jones’ style rope bridge leading over a large natural pond. A mature oak tree grows through the centre of the tree house, which adds a wonderful organic touch to the stylish interior and brings you just that bit closer to the great outdoors.

Relax and enjoy tranquility and birdsong amidst the branches…

You don’t have to leave the building to feel truly connected to the surrounding environment: outside is a sun-deck offering privacy and peace, with comfortable patio furniture and a BBQ so you can make the most of sunny days and enjoy a meal or drinks al-fresco. The private deck overlooks fields and woodlands providing a perfect spot for afternoons reclining in the comfortable patio furniture. The Bensfield tree house offers modern, centrally heated self-catering accommodation and all the creature comforts guests could possibly desire.

  • What To Do:

From the tree house you can explore the adjoining land, local villages, pubs and restaurants. Or maybe take a taxi to nearby Wadhurst or Royal Tunbridge Wells – home to cafes, art galleries, independent shops, live music and if you are looking for a special piece of jewellery, the Queen’s jeweller. The southern coast is twenty three miles away making an afternoon by the sea also accessible.

    How To Get There:

Bensfield is easily accessible by car and the nearest mainline station is Wadhurst, just one hour from London Charing Cross.

The tree house sleeps 2 adults and unfortunately is not able to accommodate children or pets.
