The Ideal Home Show
Late in December 2005, Blueforest Ltd were approached to assist in the construction of a luxury tree house for the central feature of the Ideal Home Show, 2006 at Earls Court, London.
The theme of the show was recycling & sustainable living and the central feature was a spectacular tropical rainforest waterfall.
To one side of the enormous water feature BlueForest created a tropical tree house with unique Asian influenced interior room designs for the publics inspiration.
The Tree House was styled by Channel 5's celebrity design duo Justin & Colin.
In order to create a truly tropical eco-friendly tree house for the Ideal Home Show, BlueForest teamed up with their sister company Exotic Traditions Ltd. The final design drew inspiration from the traditional architecture of the tropical Island of Bali. The tree houses were hand made using sustainably harvested Coconut tree posts, whilst the roof was covered with “6 star” Alang Alang thatched grass to create an attractive and long-lasting finish.
