Design Process

The process outlined below explains the design stages we follow for all private clients. The design process for commercial clients is similar but is tailored to suit individual projects and may include full architectural drawings following RIBA stages A-D where necessary.

PlansStage 1: Plans

Following a comprehensive site survey a full set of scaled floor plans are provided showing the location of all significant trees and environmental features and illustrating the layout and design of the proposed project.

ElevationStage 2: Elevations

Computer rendered, scaled elevations are provided representing a view of the plans at eye level. Each elevation shows the location of all the key building elements, including rooflines, windows, doors, and also indicates the choice of exterior cladding and roof materials, etc.

PerspectiveStage 3: Perspectives

Several computer rendered perspectives are completed providing a very clear visual image of what the completed structure will look like once built.

Stage 4: Visualisations

A virtual reality computer visualisation is produced showing a 3D computer rendered model superimposed into a photograph of the site providing a vivid image of the completed project before it has been built.
