A Touch of Africa

This unique eco-lodge has been built within the garden of a London Town House. Inspired by an African Safari Lodge, the innovative design creates an optical illusion making the building appear much smaller on the outside than it really is. On entering the doors, the main floor area drops down 50cm creating a ‘Tardis’ effect. Consequently, on the inside the building appears light, airy and surprisingly spacious. An additional ‘office pod’ at ground level adds to the building’s practical usefulness. Project Gallery
