Do Blue Forest only design and build tree houses?  No – The company has a legacy of  luxury tree house design & build, however more recently we have delivered a whole range of unique, sustainable structures from  classrooms to boardwalks and adventure playgrounds

Is planning permission required? In most cases, yes it is. We are very happy to offer advice and guidance and if necessary act as agents on your behalf  to take the pain out of the planning process.

How much will it cost? As a rule of thumb prices range between  £170 - £250 per square foot, however  each project is designed specifically around our clients requirements and budgetary parameters.

How long does it all take? The process can take some time so it’s always worth thinking ahead. Firstly, a member of the team will visit you to discuss your ideas, talk you through our portfolio and  if appropriate undertake an initial survey of the site. Following this, a full development proposal will be submitted outlining design costs and timescales for the development of the project.

 

What life span can we expect from a Blue Forest building? All our buildings are built to the highest standards in compliance to British Building Regulations. Depending on its location, a well used and well maintained building should last in excess of 60 years.

 

Where do you work? Most of our clients are based in the UK, however, we are happy to offer our services no matter where your project. To date we have worked across the world from the rain forests of Borneo to the island paradise of the Maldives.

The site visit & initial consultation is free of charge for prospective clients in the UK, however, there may be a charge (to cover travel and accommodation) for clients within Europe and elsewhere in the World.

What next? Once we have a good idea of  your project parameters, goals and visions we will submit a  proposal outlining the development process and associated costs for your specific project. At this stage we also provide some indicative construction costs for the proposed scheme and an outline of timescales for design and construction. The decision to proceed further is then completely up to you!
