Designed and Built by Blue Forest Luxury Tree Houses.
Brought to you by Quiet Mark and John Lewis.
Blue Forest are delighted to announce the launch of The Quiet Treehouse – an entirely new concept in arboreal living! In our busy lives our hearts long to get back to a still and peaceful place often found in nature and where better to do this than a cosy, quiet Blue Forest Treehouse.
The Quiet Treehouse is a tranquil tree-home complete with next generation sound engineering. Designed to evoke the mystery and magic of a natural woodland environment the treehouse is equally at home in a modern urban setting. Its bold contemporary design can be installed independently of a host tree yet still provides the user with the feeling that they are high in the tree tops looking down on the world below.
The Quiet Treehouse Will Be Unveiled As A Central Feature For The Ideal Home Show, 14th-30th March 2014 at Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London.
Quiet Mark, the Headline Sponsor for The Ideal Home Show, is the international mark of approval from the UK’s Noise Abatement Society, encouraging the design of quieter high performance technology and solutions to reduce unwanted noise in our environment. The official ‘Quiet Mark’ provides an easy labelling system which assures consumers of a trusted assessment of noise levels. Quiet Mark awarded technology will be available to buy at John Lewis online and in-store later this Spring.
To celebrate their partnership, Quiet Mark and John Lewis have joined with Blue Forest to design and build this amazing treehouse structure.
Visitors to The Quiet Treehouse will learn about the power of sounds in our homes and lives. The experience will be unforgettable, with personal sound-portraits, a Wild Sanctuary animal sound archive and a chance to win an impressive array of Quiet Mark awarded luxury technology products.
Blending technology in harmony with nature the treehouse will be full of the latest quiet gadgets including Dyson, Lexus, Bose, Smeg, Philips, Mitsubishi Electric, Vaillant, Magimix, Samsung and many more. To complete the adventure you will be able to hunt for these John Lewis products across the Ideal Home Show with the Quiet Trail Treasure Maps – many products with exclusive discounts only available at the show.
The development of The Quiet Treehouse is just the beginning of the story for this unique structure. Following the Ideal Home Show we are hoping the tree house will be installed at the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show as part of a fantastic feature garden designed by David Domoney. To give the project real and lasting value all the partners / sponsors have collaborated to ensure that The Quiet Treehouse will ultimately be donated to The Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice in West Sussex. This exciting news is testament to the generosity of a wide range of businesses both big and small, that have pursued a unique vision. The treehouse will provide the children and their families with a safe and stimulating environment in which to play, relax and share time together.
Brands kindly donating materials for The Quiet Treehouse for Chestnut Treehouse Children’s Hospice include Kebony, Medite Tricoya, Jewson, Cantifix, Pilkington Glass, Ion Architectural Glass, Acoustiblok, Rockwool, Kvadrat Soft Cell, John Cullen Lighting and more.
