The Nook

  • Tree House – Hideaway & Retreat

    Location: Surrey

    Form Of Contract: Individual Terms

The Nook is an excellent marriage of fun features for kids and sophisticated elements for grown ups who love a bit of al fresco dining or star gazing.

Comprised of a large treehouse and spacious deck, the Nook is equally suited for relaxing or entertaining. With its combination of outside seating, sunken fire pit and plethora of things to play on and with, this treehouse is the ideal setting for spending long summer evenings.

Inexhaustible play options for the young

The sheer number of decks, levels and different play elements creates such variety for play that kids couldn’t possibly exhaust their options in a day.

The play deck is linked to the tree house by a rope bridge and features a bespoke climbing rock and ground level adventure trail.

The trail leads to another play deck. This one comes in the form of a treetop crow’s nest so kids can keep a lookout across the garden or grown ups can enjoy the views with a glass of wine.

In addition the Nook also boasts a zip wire to get the adrenalin flowing! All features have been carefully crafted and designed to create a place that kids can come back to again and again and with a bit of creativity can have a different play experience every time.

    Relaxation for the adults

The main circular decking which surrounds a sunken firepit is an excellent setting for unwinding at the end of a long day and enjoying the evening air without the usual British chill.

The interiors of the treehouse feature classic oak flooring and premium grade cedar lining. As well as giving off a lovely woody scent this ensures the building feels airy, bright and luxurious.

The treehouse may be large but that does not make it obtrusive. The design blends harmoniously with the undergrowth and surroundings. As with all Blue Forest treehouses, whilst designing the space it was a priority for our team to work with the environment to create a unique feature on the client’s property that rather than being conspicuous, awaits discovery.
