High-Tech Hideaway Tree House

  • Treehouse retreat: Bespoke luxury

    Location: Greece

    Form Of Contract: Individual terms

The High-Tech Hideaway tree house was created with a specific brief in mind. Not only did the client want a bespoke, luxury treehouse from Blue Forest, he wanted a James Bond style hideaway for his children to enjoy on his private estate in Athens, Greece.

This tree house marries high tech home comforts with elements of play and the excitement of a secret agents base among the high branches.

Like all Blue Forest’s bespoke builds, this high tech treehouse takes the landscape of the area into account, fitting snugly between the trees and branches and incorporating them within the structure where possible.

High tech gadgetry and spy level security make the interior unlike any other treehouse

When you have the opportunity to invent a secret agent’s treetop hideaway, nothing is too outlandish. The epitome of luxury, this tree house has been designed to accommodate fantastic high-tech gadgetry in comfort.

Beyond the expected home furnishings (it’s equipped with soft seating, a kitchenette and bathroom), this treehouse is home to an entertainment centre unlike any other, including a plasma screen television, game consoles and digital photo frames. But they are just the icing on the cake.

The real spy additions come in the form of a state-of-the-art biometric security system, featuring fingerprint locks and CCTV system. The controls for the security system utilise five ultra sharp, colour, night vision cameras positioned to cover the entrance and exit to the treehouse. From the control centre users are able to move and zoom the cameras, take still shots or video footage of anyone who approaches.

The exterior of this secretive tree house boasts eco-friendly design features and fun play activities

From a distance, the High-Tech Treehouse keeps its secrets well and appears to be anything but technologically advanced. The eco-friendly materials used throughout, wooden panelling and thatched roof along with wood and rope staircase uphold the natural landscape’s appearance and wonderful views.

But this hideaway is not just about the tech. After all, a tree house simply wouldn’t be a treehouse without some additional play elements. Children can scramble up the stairs to access the treehouse or, when feeling more adventurous, can scale the rope wall or descend the slide at the lower rear of the treehouse.
